This is a proposal. It is an idea for Sheboygan, not a city plan or a decision.

Concept art: the lakefront at dusk with lit swing arches, string lights, adults gathered around fire pits and a bus parked near a pavilion.

Real dates, from documents

Show up at meetings

Public meetings are where the lakefront money and design are reviewed. These dates are documented:

  • Coming up: on October 14, 2026 the Committee of the Whole reviews and refers the 2027 Proposed Budget and 2027–2031 Capital Plan, with a public hearing on the budget. On November 2, 2026 the Common Council adopts the 2027 budget and capital plan.

Volunteer

Lend a hand when there is something to help with. Roles are not defined yet, so nothing is collected.

TODO for Mike and Sites: these three buttons are placeholders. No form backend is wired and no data is collected. Wiring them waits on the campaign-disclaimer review.

Before you do any of it, read what’s real today. Every fact there names the document and the line it came from.
