This is a proposal. It is an idea for Sheboygan, not a city plan or a decision.

Site 6

Purple Octopus and the First Swing

Idea source: RESULT-futurist-disneyland-map-2026-10-03.md §6

Site 7

EBCO Yard (Makers’ Foundry)

1221 Erie Ave

Keep the great bones of the old hall and make it a Makers’ Foundry: artists’ studios, a community kitchen, a repair café, a fabrication shop for the trail’s sculptures and swings, and a warm indoor common with free Wi-Fi.

This is a proposal.

Needs Mike’s review before publishing: the property is privately owned, so this is a dream use only.

Site 8

South Pier Market and the Bridge Landing

South Pier, at the bridge landing

A year-round market square at the landing: a covered market, small makers’ units, housing above, a warm indoor plaza, a ferry or shuttle stop, and a swing at the end of the pier.

The Y block

812 Broughton Dr

The warm room at the middle of the walk: a public front vestibule with a drinking fountain and a washroom, and an offer of free-day passes for walkers.

This is a proposal.

Idea source: RESULT-futurist-walk-spine-2026-10-03.md S3

Stop 12

The Sailing Center

619 Broughton Dr

The “learn the lake” stop: free beginner sailing and paddling days, a heated gear hall open to the public in winter, and a swing on the pier edge.

Page coming: needs content.

Idea source: RESULT-futurist-walk-spine-2026-10-03.md part 1, segment 2

This is a proposal.

Page coming: needs content.

Idea source: RESULT-futurist-walk-spine-2026-10-03.md part 1, segment 5

Stop 14

North Point Park

Page coming: needs content.

Idea source: RESULT-futurist-walk-spine-2026-10-03.md part 1, segment 6

Stop 15

The Vollrath Bowl

The north end of the walk is a winter festival ground: the bowl becomes a sledding amphitheater with a heated lodge at the rim, and in summer an open-air concert lawn. A big swing hangs at the rim facing the lake.

This is a proposal.

Page coming: needs content.

Idea source: RESULT-futurist-walk-spine-2026-10-03.md part 1, segment 7

Order of the walk: stops on Broughton Drive follow the street numbers from south to north (516, 619, 715, 812, 821, then North Beach, North Point and Vollrath). The older “Disneyland” sketch lists a few of them in a different order, so the order is still to be confirmed.
